Ranked
Ranks
Every player has two ranks: one for Classic and one for Modern. Climb from Wood to Netherite by playing well. Ranks are earned in matches and can never be bought.
Alpha: ranks aren't earned from real matches yet. Anything you see on profiles and boards today is simulated, and the numbers below may change during alpha.

The ladder
19 ranks. Each material has three divisions (III → II → I), then Netherite at the top.
- woodIII · II · I · from 0 XP
- stoneIII · II · I · from 1,042 XP
- copperIII · II · I · from 2,626 XP
- ironIII · II · I · from 5,036 XP
- goldIII · II · I · from 8,701 XP
- diamondIII · II · I · from 14,275 XP
- netheriteTop rank · from 22,751 XP
Earning XP
Each finished match gives XP to that mode's rank. Current values (may change during alpha):
| Playing a match | +10 XP |
| Each kill | +15 XP |
| Each minute survived | +1 XP |
| Finishing top 5 | +25 XP |
| Winning | +100 XP |
| First win of the day | +50 XP |
Matches with fewer than 4 players give no XP, and killing the same player counts at most 3 times a day.
A hard climb
- • Each rank needs more XP than the one before. Netherite starts at about 22,751 XP.
- • Winning and placing well matter far more than just playing.
- • Netherite also needs at least 50 wins in that mode.
- • Ranks are never for sale. Anything in a future store is cosmetic only.
- • Seasons are coming later, with rewards for each season's finish.
- • Show off your rank in game with a rank cape from the optional SG client mod. See Play.
