Play SG Network

Set up Minecraft the way the network is meant to be played, then link your account to get in.

1. Join the server

Minecraft Java Edition. Version: 26.3 (use exactly 26.3; other versions can't join). Bedrock isn't supported yet. Questions? See the FAQ.

2. Link your account

  1. Sign in with Discord on this website.
  2. Join the server in Minecraft. You'll see an 8-character code.
  3. Enter the code on your account page, or use /link in our Discord.
  4. Rejoin. You're in, and your ranks and stats are tracked from your next match.

SG modpack Coming later

Once we have more mods, everything below will come as one official modpack on Modrinth: a single install button. Until then, set things up yourself with the steps below.

3. SG client mod Coming soon

Our own lightweight mod shows rank capes (your Classic or Modern rank material) and other SG cosmetics. It's optional: the server works without it. The download will appear here when it's ready.

4. Recommended (optional)

  • Fabric with Sodium (performance) and Iris (shaders, optional).
  • The SG resource pack downloads automatically when you join. Accept it to see custom items and textures.
  • Any client mod that gives an unfair advantage (x-ray, kill aura, minimaps showing players) isn't allowed.

5. Install guides

Minecraft Launcher (vanilla)

  1. Open the launcher and choose Java Edition.
  2. Installations → New installation → pick release 26.3.
  3. Play, then Multiplayer → Add Server → paste the address.

Fabric (for mods)

  1. Download the Fabric installer from fabricmc.net and run it for Minecraft 26.3.
  2. Put Sodium (and the SG mod, when released) in your .minecraft/mods folder.
  3. Choose the Fabric profile in the launcher and press Play.

Prism Launcher

  1. Add Instance → Minecraft 26.3 → Fabric loader.
  2. Edit → Mods → Download mods → add Sodium (and the SG mod later).
  3. Launch, then add the server address.

Modrinth / CurseForge app

  1. Create a 26.3 Fabric profile.
  2. Add Sodium from the app's mod search; add the SG mod when it's listed.
  3. Play and add the server address.
